Collection Description
A collection of fifteen digitally recorded interviews recorded by members of the West Cork Oral Heritage Group with some of West Cork’s oldest citizens. The recordings are predominantly life story interviews which focus on the memory and tradition of older people in the Dunmanway, Bandon area including emphasis on tradition, customs, folklore, change, social life, religion, agriculture, politics and work. This collection is part of a broader archive of twenty-seven interviews with twenty-nine contributors.
